I found the play of light on this beautiful astrantia ever so charming! The photo was taken in a private garden in England a few years back. I love these plants very much and also think they would make good cut flowers, but have never seen them in San Diego, so I assume our climate is too hot for them to do well. What do you think? Shall I try them or not? It’s just too cold. For too long. replete with excessive quantities of entitled people who can’t/don’t/won’t appreciate. Need to go warmer and more spiritually fulfilling.
