I found the play of light on this beautiful astrantia ever so charming! The photo was taken in a private garden in England a few years back. I love these plants very much and also think they would make good cut flowers, but have never seen them in San Diego, so I assume our climate is too hot for them to do well. What do you think? Shall I try them or not?
