warrior-xarn
He was startled, whipping around to face the stranger. It was the second time that he had been snuck up on today, if the obliterated radscorpion nearby was anything to go by. The beast had caught him off-guard while his mind was elsewhere, and he had perhaps gone a bit too far in it’s destruction.
“I would say that nature has little to do with this creature,” he responded, glancing at it in consideration.
Xarn turned to better study the ghoul nearby, then, eyes hidden within his hood. “…I am not sure how much either of us should speak of what is natural, to be honest.”
{♙♔ } ℭaught off guard by an intelligent response, Voldo narrowed his eyes, taking a moment to study the strange creature before him. From a distance, it had appeared to be a super mutant- a rather common sight in the wasteland. On closer inspection, however, he realized that he couldn’t quite pinpoint just what it was after all.
“True. Creatures like us were never meant to exist in this world- but that doesn’t give us the right to start obliterating the animals that have suffered the same fate we have. There remains a stark contrast between kill and overkill- one that separates man from beast. Go around smashing living things to pieces, and the ordinary humans will start have difficulty differentiating us from radscorpions and bloatflies.”
“They already think we’re monsters. Stop perpetuating the stereotype that we’re mindless, on top of that.” {♙}
