Jack had gotten off stage to get a glass of water before her last song of the night, when she bumped into someone she never expected to see there - she hoped not to see there. Though, she hoped to never see anyone she knew there. That bar was sacred. Her aunt was manager there, and had been since she could remember. Since when her mother had still been alive. They'd sneak her in to watch sets from local bands and singers, because it was 'authentic' music. Whether originals or covers, and Jack loved it. The one part of her life that wasn't rich girl. Now, she went back as often as she could to sing there for free, but under the cover of another name. She worked hard to make a name for herself as a dancer; but as a singer, she wanted anonimity.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked after she took a sip of water - and with friends, too; great.
"Gabi? Are we- should we not be here?" December asked with a worried tone.
"Don't be ridiculous - this bitch is Gabi's stalker friend who's not really a friend. Hot, but still stalkerish. Hottie with a body and a booty to boot. Hey, am I allowed to sleep with her?"
Jack groaned, rolling her eyes and was about to comment before being called onstage again.
Jack's aunt came along and smiled at the girls. "Seems like you know my niece - she's got a real talent, ain't she? Just like her momma did. What can I get you girls? On the house tonight - I don't ever get to meet her friends, after all."
Of course, Winnie jumped right in there, leaning across the bar. "It's nice to meet you, Gorgeous. You were the younger sibling, right? Must of been, because you're definitely not old enough to be the older sibling aunt to a gown woman." She winked at the woman, who playfully swatted Winnie's hand with a bar towel, and made comment that compliments just might pay for a second round of drinks on the house.
Jack finished her song and came back over, going first for the water. “Seriously, did you know I was going to be here? Why are you here?”
