Another kick in the shins for the games industry. The WASD expo has been cancelled.

WASD was the first games industry event I ever went to. I met a whole bunch of cool people, people who would help me start and develop my career in the games industry, grew as a creator, and ate a whole bunch of soup dumplings.

I also returned to WASD and showcased Spiritfall which was pretty amazing.

When I first got offered a creator’s pass, a bunch of you helped me out on travel and accommodation. Without that, I wouldn’t have been able to attend and a whole bunch of things wouldn’t have happened, so thank you very much.

I hope another event is able to pick up the mantle soon.

i CANNOT game with WASD controls. it is so difficult. especially in 2D. I can barely even game sometimes with my Xbox controller. the only thing I can game with is a Wiimote and nunchuck and my calibration is off half the time.
