Okay, I need your assistance.

I start playing in Rob McCreary's Mummy's Mask Pathfinder RPG game at the Paizo offices tonight.

So far, what I know about my character is that he/she is a water elementalist who searches the desert looking for water. Water is life in Osirion and the more water there is, the less people need to serve or be controlled official/wealthy/royal gatekeepers.

I'm coming in late, so I'm starting at 3rd level. I'm taking Improved Familiar with the aim of getting a water elemental at 7th level, but for now I'm leaning toward taking a resolute osprey. I'm also finding the options for a water caster to be pretty anemic once you take out all the ice options, so I'm picking up spells from Dragon #334 and Dragon #314. Both have water magic articles, the former of which I developed (Shark Bolt!) and the latter written by my buddy James Jacobs (though, shock, they're Darklands themed).

Here's where I need your help. I need more awesome ideas for my water elementalist. So shoot me your concepts that work with what I've got so far, link me that inspirational water elementalist pic you just saw, or let me know what else I should be considering.

And last names. I need a good Osiriani last name.

I'll post up my character tomorrow and show you what we came up with!

Homestuck and The Kane Chronicles?

I was suddenly thinking about Homestuck and the Kane Chronicles...

And when I got a few character's roles. In path of the gods, yep, they all study the path of the gods.

Aradia would fit as a necromancer. Her god, I think it would either be Osiris, Anubis or Isis.

Tavros would fit as an animal charmer. I think he would do well with Hathor, and no, not because of the cow thing! But because they're both gentle spirits.

Feferi, she would fit as a water (DUH!) elementalist. Again, I think her path would be with Hathor.

Areana, healer (Again, DUH! Or GLUB!). I think maybe Serket, and Serket is not THAT violent, but she can also heal.

Most of the Highbloods in the hivebent trolls, maybe combat magicians? I don't know.

So, I will think of the others later, but yeah!
