🌊Skye's Sea Witch Tips 🌊
🌊Seaweed is great for weather and storm magic. I also often use it in potions for psychic work. I only anoint myself with the potion, not drink.
🌊Landlocked but want to work with the tides? The app "Tides Near Me" tells you the tide times of your nearest coast line.
🌊I often use beach sand in spells for transformation, ensuring a smooth course, grounding, banishing and any ritual that involves the element of earth
🌊Anoint your brow, throat, heart, wrists and ankles with sea water before ritual. Use it to help you connect and synchronise with the oceans energy
🌊Use large shells as offering bowls, holders, scrying bowls, incense burners
🌊I have long associated abalone shells with multi purpose magic. And specifically the moon and merfolk. Due to its iridescence, I find it helps with all energies and spells. Also works great as an amulet blessed by the ocean under a full moon for strength, focus and wisdom.
🌊Hag stones work amazingly well for protection when working with any water fae, merfolk or sea spirits. It attracts good fortune and protects the user from misfortune.
🌊Be sure to use the 9th wave for every spell you cast which is delivered to the ocean (ensuring it is eco friendly!). The 9th wave is said to be the most powerful in the third train of waves.
🌊Don't have anything to use as an offering to give to mother ocean? Clean the beach. Or, if that isn't possible, give the sea a piece of your hair.
🌊Sit on the beach during a full moon, at high tide. Follow the reflection of the Moonlight, starting at the part that is farthest away from you then, follow it back towards you. This will help you fall into a trance like state in which you can see a past life.
🌊You don't need many tools when working on the beach. The most I've ever needed is a few seashells, some candlelight, my BOS and my abalone shell. The rest is provided by mother ocean and the beach.
…because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.
I kinda want to go off and collect various water in jars but
Sam's beginner meditation tips No. 1
Now I am by no means an expert in meditation, in fact I'm a beginner myself, but these are some meditation things I do. Most of my meditation happens in the shower (like most people) water is a good refresher for me and plus I'm big in water witchery. First, I wet my hair and take a few breaths just kind of starter breaths and then I put shampoo in my hair (try to get an amount where it feels like there's a bit of weight) and work it in my hair to where it gets a nice lather, and a bit of weight. Then I ease into the water, first mainly my shoulders and back, then a few more deep breaths. Imagine inhaling the good through your nose and the bad out through your mouth. And then take one deep breath in, and step back and let the water rinse the shampoo from your hair. Feel the weight of the shampoo release from your hair and Invision it as stress melting away. While it's melting away release your breath you've been holding. And just focus on the stress and the bad going away and how the water feels washing it away. Do be careful to not let shampoo get in your eyes! PS. I find it easy to breath with the tempo of a slower, quieter song just to keep it steady but is completely optional. I hope this helps someone, have a blessed day guys!
💧I love the sound of rain, it's so peaceful and calming. It helps lull me to sleep when my brain is on overdrive.☔
It's thundering and raining heavily 😍⚡💙 The jar is out of course 😂
