16th update on the PC and more #Fundraisening for the house

On the PC side of things, I’m close, but not quite there on the waterblock funding.  It’s still listed on @deadcatwithaflamethrower ‘s wishlist ( https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/JS0BYXY3F2E9?type=wishlist&filter=unpurchased&sort=priority&viewType=list ) if you sort for Highest first, and I’m still taking donations at my paypal (https://www.paypal.me/drougnor) if you can afford to toss some money that way.  Like, I’m close, but not close enough to count and if I don’t get that waterblock, I can’t really use the card for now.

However to pivot a bit away from that - We’re almost to the end of the month and we still need help with our day to day bills. Yes(!!!) I have a job that starts soon, but until it does and I actually GET that first paycheck (May be at least one month before that happens) we are still kinda behind on things, so PLEASE go hit @deadcatwithaflamethrower ‘s KoFi (https://ko-fi.com/JerKeene) and spread the word! . یکی از روش هایی که به منظور خنک کاری و کم صدا کردن ماینر ها مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است استفاده از بلوک های آلومینیومی با جریان آب خنک است. دیجی ماینر انواع بلوک های آلومینیومی را برای دستگاه ها ماینر طراحی کرده و ساخته و مورد آزمایش قرار داده است. نتیجه این آزمایش در مجموع به دلایل ذیل مثبت نبوده و توصیه نمیشود: 1- هزینه طراحی و ساخت بلو های آلومینیومی و لوله کشی و اتصالات پنوماتیک مربوط به آنها بالاست. 2- در بسیار از دستگاه های ماینر به منظور نصب بلوک آلومینومی باید حرارت بالایی به هیت سینک ها اعمال کرد تا آنها جدا شوند. این عمل علاوه بر احتمال آسیب ناشی از حرارت سبب ایجاد تنش های مکانیکی نیز بر روی هش بورد میشود. 3-بلوک آلومینیومی سنگین است و نصب آن روی هش بورد سبب ایجاد تنش های مکانیکی بر روی هش بورد میشود. 4- بسیاری از قطعات الکترونیکی نظیر خازن ها و ترانزیستور ها و رگولاتور ها و سلف ها در این روش خنک نمیشوند، چون سطح تماس موثری با بلوک آلومینیومی ندارند. 5- به دلیل عدم خنک کاری برخی از قطعات الکترونیکی در این روش فن دستگاه باید با دور کم حتما روشن باشد تا حرارت را جابه جا کند. @DGminer #dgminer #bitcoinmining #bitcoinmining #minercooler #aluminumblock #waterblock #دیجیماینر #دیجی_ماینر #استخراج_بیت_کوین #استخراج_ارز_دیجیتال #واتربلوک (at Tehran, Iran) https://www.instagram.com/p/B6oFqHuFWe2/?igshid=k371d1xls0u3
