What else did the Waterfolk Kingdom are hiding beside kicking out hybrids out of the kingdom and the serial killer, Seaweed Gifter?

I mean, I can't outright say it, but I've kinda strongly hinted at the biggest one already and I think most of you already have an idea. It's gonna be a real shocker for Hody and Maria.

Since there are waterfolk in SVTFOE, I think Ariel would be adopted into the Mewnian queen lineage, and only then earn her cheek marks. It wouldn’t be too strange to have a mixed marriage (aka see Tom Lucitor’s parents), so I don’t think Ariel would change her appearance to look like a Mewnian. But she’d still have some difficulty adapting to life at land.

By the time Melody was born, though, waterfolk and mewnians would be at odds, so Ariel cast a spell on herself to hide her waterfolk appearance. Things would be okay, until Melody found something strange at the beach...
