Wake

i awake in a pool of slumber.

i tread the morning making waves to my neighbors.

At night I slosh home

Half frozen, if i weren't moving i'd freeze.

Splashing onto my bed i sink into an ocean of slumber.

The sun peeks small but defiant rays of light.

All comforting night ripples away.

The ocean recedes thinly.

i wake.
