@wayan9an:
— alright, he has no idea what the context this was for. Shane Hollander, being the kind of person who doesn't seek trouble nor cause it because he's afraid of what that says about him to every single entity watching him and how he's representing them, just balks at what Jae-Hyo Yoon says. " uh. " he begins rather awkwardly, pursing his lips and brown eyes darting everywhere but on the other player's face. " Pinocchio doesn't have strings— he. he doesn't need strings. he walks on ... his— ah. " Shane realizes that this is probably not what Yoon was trying to imply, but there's just nothing else that he said that Shane could even know what he was referring to. was Jae-Hyo trying to pick a fight over something? his tone sounds aggressive. but Yoon always comes off abrasive regardless of the situation, so much so that Shane himself felt like his skin had been itching more than he would have usually liked whenever he had to be in proximity to the other's outbursts on the ice. " ... did something happen? " and then there was the usual creeping accusation in the back of his head: did i do something wrong?
"Oh my GOD," Jae retorts with a sharp inhale, dark eyes rolling back in their sockets so viciously, they may as well fall straight out and violently birl their way across the entire ocean back to their home country of origin.
"I've seen the Disney movie, okay. He totally has them for the fuckin' dance sequence in that fat fuck's wagon- Stromboli, that guy's ass!"
How dare Shane-fucking-Hollander accuse him of lying, as if he'd bring up information he didn't already know. The entire point of the story was the fact that the eponymous character was a wooden marionette given life by the Blue Fairy, as a test to see if Pinocchio could learn to embody the virtues every human being needs to fully experience life (according to the author, anyway).
Of course he fucking understands that.
"That's sorta why I made the analogy in the first place, dipshit- To express how goddamn annoyed I am being forced to watch your ongoing 'Christ bearing the Cross' schtick, except Jesus is being played by one'a the most miserable and depressed looking hafu fucks I've ever seen."
