We can take care of ourselves. That wristband on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners anymore! They say they’ll forgive your crimes. I say you’re not criminals! You’re fighters, survivors! The Grounders should worry about us! - The 100: Earth Skills
Hereafter (Part I)

Person you'd most like to be stuck on a desert island with?
Killervibe vampire au please, kill me with greatness.
“Hey dead girl,” Cisco says, startling Caitlin awake. “People are coming. Go shower.”
“Don’t-” She tugs the blanket he’d lent her over her shoulders, wincing at the tiny bit of light strewn across his kitchen counter. “Don’t call me that.”
“Yeah, I’m gonna,” Cisco says. “We’re still not- We’re still not like, good, so maybe you should just go shower and not prolong this conversation.”
She curls up into the couch. “You’re still mad?”
“Oh wow, Cait, I don’t know, did you or did you not choose vampirism to help with your powers, only to find that it made everything like three thousand times worse? And did you or did you not come to me because you ate a guy, and can’t tell anyone?”
“But you’re letting me stay with you,” Caitlin says.
“Of course I am,” Cisco says. “You’re my best friend. Who’s an idiot, and needs to go shower. You’ve got-” He gestures. “Blood in your hair.”
“Oh-” she says. He’s right, and it’s dried and sticky. Gross. “Do you- Do you like this hair color?”
“Nope,” Cisco says. “Not like it’s ever gonna change, though. Because this, dead girl?” He gestures to her. “You’re stuck like this now. Forever.”
“Is that why you’re mad?” she asks.
“I’m mad because you knew better,” he says. “And now I don’t know how to fix you.”
“Oh, Cisco-” She reaches for his arm, wrapping her hand around her wrist.
“Christ, you’re cold,” he says.
“Well,” Caitlin says. “Yeah. I’m- I’m dead, Cisco.”
The look he gives her hurts more than she wants it to, somewhere deep in the pit of her chest. “Yeah, Cait. You are.”
She pulls away. “Thank you,” she says. “For looking out for me anyway. I’ll- I’ll go shower.”
“Towels in the closet by the door,” he says, and he moves away from her, like he’s on to something else.
“I know, Cisco,” she says. “I- I’m still me.”
“Let’s hope so, Cait,” he says. “Because I don’t know what to do if you’re not.”
“Yeah,” Caitlin says. “Neither do I.”
He just frowns in response, and she thinks it best to leave it alone. She’s done enough already.
And crap. She is so. Goddamn. Hungry.
