@wcka​  offered  :   say, what was Ammy's feelings towards Waka creating Kurow for sacrifice for the sake of the world ( yet again ).

i can’t begin to tell you how long i’ve waited for someone to ask this question.  now it’s been a long time since i played through okamiden myself so i’m still a bit fuzzy when it comes to certain details but i do remember THIS plotpoint and god … it’d be no surprise to know that amaterasu would be deeply,  deeply saddened by it.  i believe she’d even try to stop them at the very beginning but, yet again, she was too late. 

ultimately it was waka’s choice,  though she hates the idea that there must always be some kind of sacrifice in order for there to be peace upon the mortal world.  if there has to be sacrifice she would much prefer if it was her life,  because at least she has the possibility of coming back after dying.  alas,  she couldn’t intervene this time around.  

she’s even more grief-stricken when she realises that she never got to know kurow,  and knowing that him and her son were so close …  it hurts.  she can feel chibiterasu’s own grief as well,  as he is also a part of her.

@wcka    offered :   “ ..you know me, don’t you?” they doubt what comes back sometimes.

so many songs have yet to be written,   so many stories,  myths,  murmurs  —   she can barely catch them all but catch she must.  docile breezes flourish and skip,  winding down forth from the treetops above and pooling beside the drizzling rivers below.  rain comes as it always comes,  without a word.  foliage underfoot crunches aloud,  while the distant cry of lumbering beasts and beckoned prey can be heard.   her vision slides,  as if moving,  as if on the brink of collapse.  still she stands tall,  paws rooted in the earth yet body swaying like a flower in the storm. 

perhaps remembering is no longer good enough,  perhaps she ought to smell instead of recite,  feel instead of simply regret.  even then,  she cannot remember what it even meant to regret,  all she hears now is the distant chimes of soft laughter ripples through the open wedge of a lake.  small hints and suggestions of an even grander picture which bleeds in the corner of her eyes,   one breath away.  

…   i do.   the sound pinches the bridge of their consciousness  ;  fluttering,  rippling,  pouring.  a sigh of life ushered in after the next,  a droplet of water in the ocean blue.  not much else can be said other than this,  for she fears if she speaks too often and speaks too loudly there will be nothing else left to swallow or sing for.  but she feels them at her side despite the many years that have fled,   despite the glimmer of sadness set in their eyes.

“Your advice means a lot, really.” Robin was glad to be speaking with someone not unlike the man from her mother’s stories. He reminded her of knights, of prophets speaking the stories the gods could not whisper into the ears of their human children.

“But I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I have my sword, and my brush, but... I don’t know where to go.” The powers her mother had spoken of in her dream, did she really have them? Would this prophecy come to pass?

Stopping to take a break and just rest her legs, Rei takes a seat on a park bench. It’s peaceful here. Not to many people frequent this area of the park. It’s her little get away spot. A place she can go to get away from the sea of people and just relax for a bit.

Stretching her legs out a bit, Rei leans her head back, grey eyes cast upwards at the sky. It’s cloudy today. “..I hope it rains today. That would be nice.”

leave  it  to  gary  to  get  them  stranded  as  well  as  SEPARATED  on  unknown  planet    though  them  crashing  was  also  partially  his  fault    but  it  was  fine.  everything  would  be  okay.  the  boy  stood  in  one  spot  for  a  long  while ,  taking  in  his  surroundings  while  his  one  hand  hovered  over  his  gun  concealed  in  his  back  pocket.  the  place  seemed  PEACEFUL , but  if  he’s  learned  anything  it’s  that  looks  are  almost  always  DECIEVING ,  until  he  saw  fit  this  place  wasn’t  a  threat ,  his  guard  would  remain  up.

ears  flicker , turning  in  the  direction  of  sudden  crack  that  had  echoed  behind  him.  hand  instinctively  grasps  onto  his  WEAPON ,  still  keeping  in  hidden  from  site ,  he  turns  his  head  in  the  direction  the  noise  had  come  from. he  hesitantly  opens  his  mouth  to  speak ,   “    g...gary   ?   mooncake...  is  that  you   ?   ”
