“i’ve been wondering something,” thomas starts, with absolutely no preamble. sure, he’s something of a wordsmith but that also means knowing when to use words in moderation. and as far as he can tell, dodger isn’t one for a long attention span, so he figures he should get right to the point. “can you eat chocolate? because maybe i’d consider getting you a nice gift of, say, chocolate covered pretzels and i’d hate to offend. or murder, as the case may be. i admit, i haven’t tried it myself. still don’t have much of a sweet tooth.”

uma , about gil : you can say “please” and “thank you” a million times and he'll never repeat it . but if you say the f-word once he says it all day long to everyone he sees .
