um. so. wedding planning, yeah?
#i don't know how to explain that we're not engaged but we're thinking about one#neither of us has proposed#we probably won't#and it's so funny because his sister is so insistent on “women want to be proposed to”#and he keeps telling her “i don't think anna wants one”#(he is correct)#(my parents also never did the proposal thing they just mutually decided to get married one day while driving on a boring highway)#we'll have been together 12 years this summer and it'll be 14 by the time we do this ceremony if it happens when we want it to#at a certain point you're just “yeah you're my person i guess”#anyway it is going to be SMALL#both my sisters had +200 people at their weddings#which was slightly insane to me but they married italians with very large families asdfasdf#we are going to have 20 max#low-key low stress and probably by the ocean👍#ngl one of the breweries we went to last week on vacation was because my partner suggested it as a venue and i wanted to scout it out#anyway idk how much i am going to lose my mind over the next two years trying to budget for a house and a wedding ceremony#personal nonsense
