Why are people on the hellaverse subs acting as if viv and the team didn’t make emberlynn hot as hell on purpose and fully expect fans to simp for her?

“Hear me out” hear WHAT? Shes a pretty pastel goth girl whos very cringe but the whole point is that shes a funhouse mirror dude shes a lighthearted ribbing meant to represent YOU. And some people are into the cringe part too, which by all means, you do you.

We’re all “degenerates,” and we’ll always be seen as degenerates for being cringe or weird or even just liking the shows in question. Trying to separate yourself from people who dare find a conventionally attractive woman attractive because you’re #notlikeotherfans just ends up drawing more attention to what your brand of degeneracy actually is and what you could be projecting and/or hiding by loudly proclaiming “I’m not like _____! That’s weird! Did everyone hear me say that’s weird? I’ll say it a few more times, maybe that’ll get people who are DEFINITELY looking at me to stop looking at me.”

And then there’s people who very much closed their eyes when emberlynn’s anonymous hater, the one with a seven year grudge over shipping, was made the butt of the joke multiple times because the hater is a mirror for a much shittier, and actually harmful, part of the fandom. The kind that, yknow, harasses (and in this case puts a goddamn hit on) someone with different ships and headcanons. And so we continue arguing over shipping nonsense! Harping on the “not really” part of the incest shipping quote, but then ignoring the “dis bitch seems really upset about it” (and everything else blitz said) that was intended to mock that exact holier-than-thou attitude about shipping fictional characters, is clown behavior.
