“How do I participate?”

Posting begins on November 10th, and ends whenever I remember to close the AO3 Collection.

Use the tag “#Weapon XIX Week” here and on AO3 (and #weaponXIXweek on Bluesky). Posts including sex and/or kink don't always hit the tag pages, so make sure to @ our account directly so we catch it.

Post it on AO3. Share it here. Draw it on the whiteboard in the break room. Write it lovingly by hand and mail it to your mom — she’d love to hear from you, she told me so last night.

“What can I make?”

All forms of fanwork are allowed: fic, art, moodboards, podfics, interpretive dance… surprise me! The weirdest format gets a prize. (the prize is me saying “oh, wow” when I open it)

There are no minimums, and you can double dip with other events as long as they allow it.

“What should my work be about?”

If it’s about Weapon XI/X, it’s fair game!

There are no content restrictions on this event. Get kinky, get gross… I’ll even accept fluff if you ask nice. Tag your shit and we’re good.

Weapon XI is my funky little guy, and this is his party! He doesn’t have to be a silent lab experiment — he’s been through the ringer, and deserves some joy and whimsy as a little treat. We encourage fusions, AUs, fix-its, and more! But this isn’t a standard Origins event, so dig a little deeper than babyface Ryan or Deadpool Prime.

Wolverine can be any version, because let’s be real… he gets a lot of love. Also. Old Man Logan/Weapon XI. Need I say more?? The Poolverine relationship can be romantic, sexual, platonic, adversarial, or… all four??

Solo work that features specifically Weapon X or Weapon XI is also allowed. (i.e. art of Logan in that weird head thingy is a fuck yeah! But a drawing of a random Logan isn’t really in the spirit of the event) (solo art of X-24 is also allowed, because now that I've remembered he exists I'm obsessed)

If you can’t wrap your head around monogamy… same, comrade. Multishipping is allowed as long as the XI+X dynamic is a core theme.

Trope subversion is my kink and puns are my love language. Hold the spirit of Weapon XI in your heart and make it weird. (Dogpool was a Weapon XI variant the whole time? More likely than you think…) 

The intent of this week is to spark creativity, so if you have to ask “does it count?” the answer is probably yes! If you’re not sure, our asks and DMs are open <3

Bodyswap, but you misread the prompt and made an AMV called “Body WAP” where they twerk about mack trucks and macaroni

From the age of 10 and for the rest of her life, Gwen's life revolves around her cousin and his alien fights. Gwen sees other enemies fall in love with Ben, Looma, Charmcaster, Attea, just to name a few. Even Ben's allies that he becomes romantic with, like Kai and Elena, have antagonistic relationships with him. Gwen looks at her own parents and her mother, Natalie, an average human, is antagonistic about the alien aspects of the family she married into.

Gwen grows up thinking fighting is just a normal part of courtship and she meets Kevin on every battlefield and flirt-fights right back at him.

“Told you. Feels nice. You never do things you’re not supposed to just cuz they feel nice?” Wade asked with a cheeky smirk. He licked his lips and very deliberately looked at Logan’s crotch.

“There’s something seriously wrong with you.”

“Yup. And you’re a paragon of normalcy,” Wade snarked. He reached for Logan’s hand, the one holding his gun, and lifted it to eye level. “Was there something you needed, or did you just come over here to tell me what I’m allowed to put in my mouth?”

He dragged his fingers across Logan’s wrist, tipping it slightly and leaning in to meet the gun. He rubbed his lips over it, sticking his tongue out to trace the circle of the barrel. It tasted like the bitter gun oil he’d used to clean it earlier that day, but it was worth it to see the look on Logan’s face.

He pulled the gun closer, dipping his tongue between each of Logan’s fingers curled around the handle. He kindly didn’t have his finger on the trigger — not that Wade would’ve minded if he did — instead it rested flat along the barrel above it.

“I-“

Logan’s words trailed off when Wade wrapped his lips around his trigger finger, sliding up to the tip, and sucking hard.
