Happy Pride Month to my LGBTQ+ family & all the allies out there!!! 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈💖 Each year I feel like I write “Pride is more important this year than ever” which says a lot about our Govt, our media, & certain sections of society. What I find ironic about this is, the majority of people I meet on a day-to-day basis have no issue with LGBTQ+ folk. The mass hysteria & culture war being generated, particularly towards trans people, is being done by those who have zero interaction with us, in a bubble, away from real life. They are trying to paint the LGBTQ+ community as something deviant, something monstrous, something to avoid! This year, this is why Pride is so important: PRIDE IS ABOUT UNITY, ACCEPTANCE, & CELEBRATING EVERYONE’S BEAUTIFUL UNIQUENESS AS PEOPLE & MOST OF ALL PRIDE IS ABOUT LOVE!
