Does Vortex Have a Split Core? DP Theory.

This has been a personal idea of mine for a while. But I haven't really seen it mentioned before so I decided that I would write a bit about it. So this is a theory I have about Vortex, he is the level 10 ghost seen in the episode ‘Torrent of Terror’ Season 3 episode 4 of Danny Phantom. He is widely known as a very powerful ghost who can control weather phenomenon's around the world, often using it to creature meteoritical catastrophes before he was put in prison and on trial by the observants.

Something about his powers seemed interesting to me. In the episode he had clearly shown characteristics and powers of both fire and ice core ghosts. Fire cores being much more common than ice core ghosts. here are my examples I have gathered for my theory.

Examples:

1. In his second conversation with Vlad, in the office, when he was talking about how his power could be used for so much more than fooling with humans and making Vlad look better. His hand turned blue and created a snowman in the palm of his hand, seconds later his eyes glowed red and he melted the snowman with a red heat vision.

2. My biggest piece of evidence is definitely the final fight scene between Danny and Vortex. The most notable thing in this fight is that Vortex splits himself in half. Both halves being slightly smaller than his larger form, meaning that this is not duplication that you would see with Danny or Vlad, more like an actual split. The biggest change though is that instead of both being green after split, one became a blue and the other became red. Each colour only controlling either ice of fire core properties. As shown by Blue flying through town freezing buildings solid, while Red flew buy and melted buildings and roads into almost liquid from the heat.

We have never seen a ghost using both the abilities of both an ice and fire core. Which is why I believe that Vortex is a very rare situation. I think that he has a split core. Half fire half ice. That would explain why when he split both sides of him were so drastically different. It would also explain why he has so much control over the weather itself. Below are more examples of stuff he had done in the episode that retain to a fire core and a ice core.

Fire Core:

1.The heatwave at the beginning of the episode.

2. Electrocution and lightning. (I believe that electricity powers, such as Technus, are from fire cores. Like lightning bending from firebenders.)

3. Burning the Eifel tower with lightning.

4. fire blasts with his hands and eyes.

5. Melting buildings as he flew by them.

Ice Core:

1. Created large car sized pieces of Hail to rain down on a city in the begging scenes with the observants.

2. Creating a gigantic snowball to throw at Danny, then freezing him solid.

3. Covering the golden gate bridge in San Francisco in ice.

4. Covering the sphinx and the pyramids in a snowstorm.

5. Coating every single building in Venice Italy in 3 feet of ice. Including freezing all the water and some humans who were on boats at the time.
