My mom #LeonorLazoGonzalez teaching how to wind bobbins to use in the #shuttle for a #weavingclass. The bobbin has to be wound evenly and tightly so that the #threads don't unravel as we are #weaving; having a perfectly wound spool is key to smooth weaving. This activity is one of the first things we learn to do at a young age, a lot of young boys will help their parents and uncles to wind up their bobbins. Helping out experienced weavers allow young kids to learn and pick up weaving tips and techniques from the #masterweavers.
