Hey, it’s been a while

I can’t believe the last time I posed on here was 10 months ago, wow. A lot has happened since then! The comic has been on hiatus on Tapas since January, so that I could focus on my final semester of college. And what a semester that was. Finishing college during this pandemic was overwhelming to say the least, and I took some time to decompress before picking up the comic again. 

Now, it’s strange that one of the last things I posted here was a doodle of Meredith and Noel, and then I’m coming back with this. The months I spent away from the comic gave me some time to reflect on what I would like to focus on, and my feelings about certain things have changed. I started it nearly 4 years ago, so this was bound to happen. 

Lillian and Noel are going to be more than just friends. And, while I’ll still be exploring Meredith and Noel’s history, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for them to end up together in the long run. It was really weird to come back to my story and have completely different feelings about it, but everything I’ve recently written has felt like it naturally fell into place. I’m so excited to come back to Tapas this week, and hope that you’ll still enjoy this comic even if things look a little different going forward.
