"The STORY" “What do you do”? 🤔 People ask me this often. I am in an industry where I get to determine my own worth. I don't have to wait for a "boss" to decide when it's time for a raise which is extremely empowering!! So far in quarter one I’ve already given myself a 137% increase over 2020. What shifted for me? My belief in myself, my desire to help others, an amazing new product and stepping into who I needed to be to attract, accomplish and achieve all that I’m looking to achieve. I feel blessed to be able to create my own schedule. I don’t have to ask someone when I can take a vacation or a day off. For me It's about having time flexibility and freedom. I also love the community of people I get to work with. Some of them are my very best friends. I know they have my back, and I have theirs! What we didn't know, however, is how quickly people will start coming forward to extend a helping hand! One of the very first in this were the lovely folks at @sarojfabrics who contacted us the very first day that we announced the initiative online...and we had a ton of fabric with us the following day! It's in times like this that we need to strengthen our community bonds if we are to emerge victorious at the end of this road. A big shout-out to @sarojfabrics for doing what is right!
