WANGXIAN WEDDING SMALL COMIC

Thankyou to all who waited for it!

Context for who didn't get it:

In first panel Wei Wuxian enters wearing wedding robes and veil, with Jiang Cheng and Jiang yanli by his side.

In second pannel, Wei Wuxian's veil gets blowed by the wind and his smiling face is seen.

On third pannel wangxian look at each other, lan Wangji on the end of the aisle and Wei Wuxian , who's walking the aisle.

In next page, the first pannel wangxian take wedding bows.

In second pannel, they're holding hands with matching set of rings.

In third pannel, Wangxian are looking and smiling at each other.

It's end, but not the last piece though ✨ there's a bonus pic I've done.

This project has been interrupted by so many things its not even funny anymore i’m so glad i finished it. I have a part 4 with the actual wedding scripted, but it looks like its going to be a long one and tbh, drawing this took a lot out of me so im going to take a little break before working on the next one.

IVY: Yes, daddy.

The girl in the front is “Ching Chong”, a stereotypical Chinese girl that Ivy tutored in art. The story is that she came across the infamous fetish videos Chris made for Ivy, the ones where he wears a diaper and drinks his own semen, while perusing ED. Scarred for life, she went crying to Ivy who in turn asked Chris to apologize, which he later did.

The usage of stickers in this scene is one of very few times Chris has used a “3D” (and I use that term very loosely) element in his comic. The story of the stickers goes back a long way, according to Ivy. The stickers were originally supposed to appear in Episode 19, before Chris came up with the dating education plot, which was originally going to be about Punchy and Layla’s date at a Mickey D’s (we’ll discuss the changes between this original concept and the finished product in depth when we get there) Inspired by a recent episode of South Park about queefing, he had a plot about Layla queefing in public and Punchy being okay with it. As a reference to a scene in the South Park episode where Martha Stewart shows how to decorate a queef, Ivy suggested using glitter in the comic; Chris got stickers instead. Chris ended up cutting out the entire queefing sequence and the stickers eventually made their way into the comic here.
