This may come as a surprise, but I didn't want to work out today. After a long day at work, dealing with family stuff, and trying to get started on some holiday prep, I just wanted to veg out and go to bed, but then it hit me. I spent ALL day showing up for other people at work, at home, and in my life, but I was so quick to bail on myself. So I knocked out a few workouts for this month's #WeDoHardStuff challenge, and even though I'm more tired than I was before working out, I'm glad I did it. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is show up for ourselves. We're under so much pressure to give and give of ourselves to others, but the real work comes when we make time to do the things that are purely for our own benefit. ACCOUNTABILITY CHECK: What are you doing to show up for yourself this week? (at Orono, Maine) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqYgpMCnlaZ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=piu0smmx044k
