Little Game Design Idea For Vehicle Combat

Make game mechanics which account for when multiple units or players control one vehicle or other large system by inherently depending success upon the compensation for working together to achieve one simple goal.

Moving and Shooting Accurately - One player controlling movement will need to move in consistent predictable patterns for any chance of success.

When driving smoothly/predictable 

-Give the gunner aim assist, dragging the cursor towards nearby targets based on the type of gun used (Machine gun -> infantry)

-Explosives hitting the armored sections does significantly less damage because the vehicle gains shields or has existing shields boosted

or rough/fast

-Jerk the gunners aim, with the frequency of jerks directly dependent on driver's speed

-While moving at higher speeds, directly hitting armor will push the vehicle and do increased point specific damage Shields will also be weaker/removed
