4.6 Old house
Miguel adjusts his red and black plaid long-sleeves and makes his way into the restaurant. Before he pulls on the door, he tugs on his polo. 2-storey wooden house. Three bedrooms. Three Bathrooms. Living Room. Kitchen. Garage. It was cheap. Two thousand a month, but it wasn't the best looking house - nor was it the safest. Through the years, termites, storms and burglars had dilapidated the "spanish-era" type house. He fortunately got the deal from a friend, who offered seeing that it was inherited and had nothing to do with it. He was in a pinch, with a debt from a 5-6 motorcycle rider. He wasn't in a place to complain. Plumbing was still okay, and the electricity steady - it was enough for someone starting out in the city. He's barely in the house anyway, so he doesn't like to do any unnecessary redecoration or renovation. He only needs a place to sleep. He didn't bother to buy a bed, only a mattress in the smallest room on the first floor. He did have a pillow and a blanket.
Most of the time, he's at work or looking for work, since he often gets fired for "performing inadequately".His phone was always beside his head when he sleeps, so he often wakes up with one ring. He waits for calls of only to types: "You got the job" or "Thank you for your application".
Above him was a window that he chose to keep open, since he had no air conditioning or a fan to cool him off. He eats out as well, but he takes his breakfast on a small make-shift kitchen table. He didn't use the cabinets in the kitchen, they were too dusty. He buys what he needs and consumes it before having to store any up.
