4.7 Apartment 402
Mrs. Aileen Tan's eyes were dull, like she was in a daze. She stands with her feet together, arms to the side almost like a mannequin. Apartment. Two bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Dining Area. Living Space. Their apartment was almost one fourth of a floor, just enough for four growing kids who were still in their schooling. Her husband deals with their business and she is left to care for their youngest boy - the only boy to be exact. The two oldest sleep in their own room, while the two youngest stay in their parent's bedroom. The king sized bed could accommodate the couple and the shoti, but the atsi would sleep on a foldable bed she would arrange just before. Her bedside table would comprise of three things: baby bottle, white cloth, and her prayer book, which are used in order. The lullaby helps the child sleep, along with the milk and the cloth for wiping off the drippings. After the boy is asleep, she attends to her daughter and kisses her good night. She covers her body up to her torso with a blanket, while she waits for her eyes to get tired while her husband watches TV. The porcelain figurines adorned the shelves about the set. She loved collecting them, thinking it was "feminine" for her to do so. She sits up and picks up where she had left off the night before. Ends it with the sign of the cross.
