8 weeks 1 day

I had an ultrasound again this passed Tuesday, was about 7 weeks 5 days but baby measured 8 weeks (grow baby grow strong!). Could clearly see the heart beat (as last time), this time you could also see little arms and legs- baby looked like a tiny trex! Lol As I'm typing this I am sooooo grateful, so happy and yet still a little anxious. I can tell my baby is strong and here to stay, but I still wish I could fast forward to 12 weeks to know I'm in the safe zone for the most part. Also, I can't wait to share the news with my loved ones! Only a few close friends know. We haven't even told our parents! It's so hard to keep such big meaningful news from close family and friends...but after our last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage (a blighted ovum), we figured this time we'll stay on the safe side and share the news when it's time. Our parents took it pretty hard last time, and even though I am convinced baby will be fine, and we're much farther along than we were last time, I don't wanna take the chance to jinx it. My next check up is on October 25th, at around 12 weeks, and the time doesn't seem to pass fast enough! Lol I am obsessing with this pregnancy's progress and I don't know how to stop!!! 🙈🙈🙈
