Hello everyone! First of all, I’d like to thank all the new followers and everyone who interacted, both here on the blog and in the community where the first two pages of the comic were posted. I’m honestly really excited and surprised by the amount of engagement—it’s more than I ever expected!
Now, on to the next thing: I’m currently organizing different sections for the blog—comic pages, concept art, announcements, and more. So today you might see a few placeholder posts as I start categorizing everything in preparation for a masterpost that I’ll pin at the top. Sorry for any inconvenience that might cause!
As for the posting schedule, here’s what I’m thinking:
Mondays: Storyboards
Wednesdays: Progress updates
Saturdays: New comic page Later on, I might alternate some Mondays with lore posts or concept art instead. Maybe even more posts during the week—who knows! Let me know what you’d like to see!
Also, if any announcements are needed, I’ll share those midweek.

Hello, and welcome to what i’m calling (for now) The Road Is Sweeter Than It Seems!
I’m currently in the process of recovering from severe anxiety and mild depression, so i’m looking for an outlet to leave my thoughts and feelings and make something productive with them. I’ve never actually finished a comic before so i figured one of those small four panel daily life comic series could help me get on the right track towards making longer, plot-driven comics!

Back at it again. This weeks strip was inspired by another teacher friend of mine and I asked if I could use his likeness (he agreed) because using my likeness all the time is a bit overly self-serving, I think. I’d like to start moving more in this kind of direction; I’d still like to use myself as a character, but I will do my best to highlight all different kinds of stories and experiences too.
Also hoping to do a bit of work on educational policy...could be very relevant or irrelevant come Thursday.
Lastly, I’m going to take a few weeks off to cool down and work on some other projects. See you then!
