for angel, love is the act of remembering.
in all of their time with micheal, he loved them in all the ways they were supposed to be loved -- the motivation, the patience, the consistency.
and to angel, that was enough.
or so they thought it was.
micheal didn't remember things about angel the way angel remembered things about him.
they'd ask the waiter to remove the carrots from his order because they knew he hated them. they'd go to a specific store to get a specific shampoo because they remember him saying he likes the smell of it.
they didnt' realize how much they needed someone to reciprocate that -- until they met david.
back then, there was still absolutely no foundation for their relationship. yet what made them off guard was when he said:
"hey, i got you dinner."
angel replied with "just reminding you, i'm celiac."
and even though they've only met up again after two months of just texting because of work, he replied, "don't worry, i already got your favorite chickpea pasta from that place you love."
angel just stood there.
at that moment, angel felt strangely loved and seen.
because for them, it wasn't just an 'oh he remembered i have an allergy.'
it was the fact that even if they hadn't met up for a few months, there were still details david felt worth it to hold onto -- and for angel, that was more intimate than an 'i love you'.
that's when angel realized.
it was the fluency that was missing that made them feel like something was missing whenever they were with micheal.
remembering implies that someone still thinks of you in your absence, whether its convenient for them or not.
because how can it be the thought that counts if there were no thoughts?

almost every time you see david and angel, they're sitting so close to each other. hip to hip, thigh to thigh, angel resting their head halfway on his bicep (because that's what they can only reach while sitting together) while they carelessly scroll on their phone, david's hand almost enveloping their whole waist while he rests his head on the couch comfortably. just them not giving a fuck about each others personal space.

its become a tradition for david to get angel something at least once or twice a week. angel's favorite food, the new album their favorite artist just released, clothes he saw them eyeing from far away, literally anything he thinks angel will love. and they do. every single time.
sometimes angel rants off about how they they already know that they're already gonna get smile lines with how much they laugh in a daily basis. david knows they're not insecure about it, just saying what their mind is thinking out loud, yet he still always reassures them that no matter the changes they'll go through, he'll always be in love with them. angel knows he means it.
best moments are when angel is just sitting at the kitchen counter ranting about what's going down at their workplace, pop culture, things that only chronically people would know, while david is walking around the kitchen preparing their dinner, occasionally telling angel to get the salt behind them. just the two of them doing what makes around the person that makes them comfortable. doing what they love around the person that they love.
grocery shopping, angel pushes the cart while david plays gps. then angel changes course and makes a turn because they start remembering the ingredients of one of the hundreds of recipes they saved in their phone. so now david's trying to find where they ae with a handful or grocery in his hands, finds them trying to desperately reach the top shelf with their phone on their hand
soft and calm mornings. brushing their teeth together, angel's still wearing nothing but his shirt, just savoring and appreciating each other's presence. david's hair still damp and just letting the air slowly dry it, while angel does so with a hair dryer. its quiet, but in a way that's not awkward, in a way that's routinely, in a away that lets you know that they've been together for so long. just pure domestic bliss.
I guarantee you that parent!David is like those parents that act like they just got flashbacks from ww2 and witnessed double homicide in person when you try to wake them up, with the most dramatic ass gasp ever, eyes wide and everything

☆ the couple. these two have acted together in so many films and shows and almost 90% of the time it blows up the charts. almost everyone you meet will probably know two or more movies where their star in. they're both iconic.
☆ david's really known for his villain roles in horror films, and he's basically just dwayne johnson at this point. every horror film he's ever acted in was the most suspenseful and terrifying shit you'll ever see, all because this guy is so good at playing the killer, it's actually kinda scary,,. he's also playing a guy that can turn into a wolf on a 'fantasy universe" a big company created (did u see what I did there lol)
☆ he's so thirsted over by so many people it's kinda insane, guarantee that your ears will be bleeding whenever he walks on red carpets cause of all the high pitched squealing.
☆ david practically grew up around cameras, and has achieved great roles as a child actor. gabe was a really well known iconic figure at the time and when he died, david definitely needed a break, and a long one. after 2 years of hiatus, he finally got active. he didn't land roles immediately, but he still got back and now he's one of the most awarded actors.
☆ angel has a big history on the comedy and drama side of the industry. their first ever successful job that can actually pay their rent was comedy, so they're pretty witty, and they're known for being witty at interviews and being pretty good at dodging some risky questions that can only be answered with risky responses.
☆ angel's digital footprint is so scattered and over the place, so there's a chance that you'll just randomly stumble upon their audition tape to be one of ariana grande's backup vocals on your youtube recommendations.
☆ angel's famous for improvising a lot throughout a film. ironically, half of their popular scenes probably have one or two improvising.
☆ the most popular film david and angel have ever acted in is the first ever film where they first met and worked with each other. it was an enemies-to-lovers romcom film, as cliche as it sounds. it got so many positive feedbacks, even twitter loved it. it was on top of the billboard. everyone was so taken aback by david and angel's chemistry with each other; every eye contact, every lingering touch, every snarky comment, every emotional scene, every kiss. it was phenomenal, these two were in their prime.

☆ a year and a half later of dating rumours, and fans and paparazzi spotting them coming out of hotels and mcdonalds; awooga, they both finally announced that they were dating by angel posting pictures of the both of them hugging and kissing each other in front of the same restaurant they got caught in numerous times, with a caption saying "idk guys all this acting shit makes me miss my boyfriend" (with a shrug emoji)
