Don't know if you have seen this yet. But there's a new Magical Girls Anime coming out that's based on the Manga. It's called "Gushing over Magical Girls" Here's a summary.

"Hiiragi Utena has always looked up to magical girls and fantasized about transforming into a cool heroine who fights evil. So, when a doll-like figure approaches her one evening, claiming that she has magical power lying dormant within, she trembles in excitement. But her colorful dream is quickly shattered in an ironic turn of events when she transforms into a villain!

Disinterested in associating with the forces of evil, she tries to quit when a group of magical girls appear and declare war. A battle ensues and Hiiragi soon discovers that she enjoys inflicting pain on others as her true nature starts to emerge."

Fair Warning. The Manga has a lot of.. Spicy moments. (It's labeled as Comedy, Magical Girl, Yuri.)

The Anime is in production right now, but I hope they tone down the themes from the Manga. Otherwise it's going to called a "Hentai" and nobody wants that! 🤭😅

Yeah, I've heard of that series thanks to @mahou-furbies mentioning it. Honestly, while the plot summary has promise, I'm not really interested in watching/reading it because it seems like an obvious ecchi series that sexualizes the teenage characters and magical girls themselves. From what I understand, the villainous MC is only 14 years old and she wears an extremely risque outfit and is often sexualized. Like she's literally a 14yo sadomasochist which is.... a choice.

i feel like that’s one of the great thinks about mark and ethan--on their main channels they really can be watched and enjoyed at all ages

Yeah, it's important not to speak for/over streamers

Though in the situation I describe, it's defending them when they don't need to be defended. If a streamer has an issue, they'll speak about it, either in private or publicly, but a lot of people seem to think that they either can't or won't so take it upon themselves to do it for them. It's like... infantalizing, almost, and it's really creepy, really weird, and REALLY annoying to keep seeing it. I feel like it's worst on twitter but it's pretty bad here too

It was one small mantle holding a single stick candle that illuminated the entire space, and it weakly combated the blackness that surrounded them both with its tender wavering flame. Dark sat in his seat, chromium hands folded in his lap as he spoke. Shadows cut across his face, shaking in-time with the candle light, glinting a reflection in his eyes that detailed the faintest sign of life. He peered at them sharply, regarding his memory with venemous heat. 

He seemed to briefly consider ignoring the question, dodging it, scrutinizing their curiosity. He drew his lips firmly, drawing his gaze off, and his eyes glazed with reminiscence.“They were never a gambler,” he finally replied. “Found no pleasure in it. A waste of money. When would they have had time, anyway, their job was so consuming and so focused…” Dark straightened. His entire body stiffened with disdain. “I am separate from them, but I see their memories. I feel their resonating thoughts. Like a passing ghost, lingering in the empty caverns, sharing an enigma of feelings. The only reason they attended that party was for diplomacy. Potential. Blinded by hope to create a better future.”

He shook his head, giving a short tut. “They had the opportunity to decline, could have excused themselves on the account of their stressful schedule. But they were weakened by affection. So they met their doom. They should have never accepted the invite.”

I'm not worried. Everyone who knows me already knows I'm a shameless Thot and Slut Queen for Dark. Ain't no Shame in my Game. I know he is bad. I know he wants to use us. I know he is evil. I know he doesn't give a shit about me. (Also acknowledging for those who might, misunderstand what I am saying. I DO KNOW AND REALIZE HE IS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER.
