just saw the tags mentioning obx / Piedmont - are you from NC? I grew up a lil north of Charlotte but omg those accents are such a visceral memory, and stick out to me so much then I hear them now in boston
i am :p i grew up mostly around durham and raleigh , i don’t hear many folks with similar accents out this far but it’ll never leave my mind
word ask - "unfortunately"
I do use that word a lot lol! I'm sharing whole paragraphs because, well, why not
Latent Defects: Gareth’s view is partially obscured by a white sedan he recognizes, unfortunately, as Emily’s. Walter’s car is next to that. Well, he can’t stay here long.
Whaleshark: He knows who she is, despite her codenames for her husband and son. She’s shared too much. But whether Alias – Sienna Bell, 38 (born June 27, a Cancer), Glen Park, San Francisco – knows that he is Gregory Zaytsoff, 35, Worcester, Massachusetts – is something they have never discussed. They’ve certainly never discussed whether she has notifications set up for news alerts regarding Gregory Zaytsoff, a legal name unfortunately so unique that it only turns up results about him, with the exception of three obituaries for an infant, a distant ancestor, who died in 1973.
re: the angel game - the letters don't mean anything but are just extra Information to consume and enjoy. the colors gradually fade based on how long a cell has been alive or dead. there are still only two states, i just wanted to visually represent the time-dimension of their life as well :)
oh okie dokie!
Bdbdjxjd I meant my roommate Kat but you know what? Every Kat who likes noise should listen to Willow's music
I don't even go here re: mash but are there any graphs or chats of which episodes are the most gay? would enjoy an analysis
OH MY G-D WILLOW....
i haven’t seen anything like that and i’m not too mathy myself so any analysis on my part would likely be holistic/literary, but it WOULD be interesting to chart the ups and downs of various types of subtext as the show progresses... keep ur eyes peeled i guess and i’ll send anything i see your way.

pseudonym?
I’ve thought about it! Sadly my hangups about dishonesty are too strong and my fears about douchebags who don’t like the topics I’ve chosen to write about are not assuaged by the idea of using a pseudonym...my social media hygiene and infosec are not sufficiently good enough to keep me actually anonymous, in a way I don’t think would be easy to undo, so using a nom de plume just feels like admitting I’m a coward

oh im just gonna build a small castle out of my bottles
Also a solid option...love the idea of a transparent orange castle
