weevil found on some laundry... very cooperative when photos were taken and allowed for me to focus stack

robust appearance kinda looks like its covered in scales

Found this guy wandering along the driveway 💚 didn’t know what he was at first but grabbed him anyway(don’t do that btw <<) but I’m pretty sure he’s a weevil!

it's the name of the bug weevil in my native language

There was a time in my life where I was in loop of watching bugs on the internet for hours and hours, in awe of the beauty of the unloved and weevils are my favourite, they look so silly.

Last year I got even a tattoo of one 🥰
