I just think about the fact that I created two pairings that were not on AO3 before (am I weird?😅) - Dietbrecht and Hellraine.
Anyway, I'm glad and thankful for the people I met through my weird working brain, haha. #loveyou

Generally, I'm a canon-pairing guy -- Lina/Gourry, Clark/Lois, etc. etc. Sometimes, though, canonical or semi-canonical sources will have a non-standard pairing that will stick in my brain like a dormant virus, flaring up at random times. Long-term example of this is ParkerPryde, which we got for a few arcs in the 1610 (he moved on, but in his "memorial" issue, we saw that she was still carrying something of a torch for him -- of everyone's might-have-been spreads about Pete, only hers was their might-have-been). I'm still kind of feral about it, and as they try and keep him younger than he should be and letting her age up, it's becoming almost tenable: Kate could date Pete and it wouldn't be as weird as it would have been at other real-world times.
That said, I think the Jen/Matt pairing we got in the She-Hulk show (which may or may not be firmly canon with the MCU?) is going to be that for me. I can't stop coming back to the benefits:
You can do courtroom stories with the setting's most notable lawyers;
You can do drama when they have to face each other in court (which they've done at least a few times, but now it's relationship drama);
You can do comedy when they're on different sides of a transaction and the transaction is very silly;
No stupid identity shit about their identities but even with secret IDs less of a thing, they both have various bits of information (identities, reality shifts, alien threats, the Hand, etc.) that the other doesn't but they might expect them to know, so Jen could be all "Matt, why are you checking in with this rando photographer about cannibal sewer monsters? I'll just call Carol" (and then Carol is like "we dated" and Jen is all "wha?"); and
Most importantly: the villains at Matt's level of play, who love threatening and actually murdering his friends, particularly women he's involved with, are multiple orders of magnitude short of doing anything other than inconveniencing Jen.
That last one just cracks me up. She'd still be mad ("Do you know what my court suit costs, Murdock???? I'm not some PD who goes in wearing JC Penney pantsuits!") but she wouldn't be dead and e.g. Bullseye would be so damn frustrated.
Series of Weird Pairings that I'm Probably the Only One Who's Thought of.

Oh. No. It's just Skip from Starstruck Odyssey. Carry on!
By the way
Both in my Moon Knight primer and in my Moon Knight musings about the last episode I mentioned that Khonshu is a... well, Hawkeye fangirl.
I mean Clint Barton Hawkeye.
He met the archer when the West Coast Avengers were in Egypt, asked him to be his avatar in the past IMMEDIATELY because "he found his soul intriguing" and then proceeded to possess Moon Knight's body to be an avenger because he wanted to be near Clint.
Clint, for his part, did NOT accept to be Khonshu's avatar, but did create the weapons that Moon Knight would use in the future when he HAD somewhat mystic stuff on the comics.
So... uhm... If anyone writes a fic with that information?
Can you guys please link it to me?
Please help me!!! Does anyone else think Rick and Washu have some explaining to do? 😂🤔
