I've seen many times that clone fucking discourse meme and it made me think. with current, real life cloning technique it's basically making your identical twin, just with age difference. sure, it has same set of DNA as you, but is its own being, grows up having different experiences than you. so yeah, that would be incest. but let's say the cloning from science-fiction is possible and it would make your identical copy with your personality and memories. then it wouldn’t be incest, since it’s not a sibling. But what exactly makes you “you”? it’s the personality and experiences, one shaping the other and vice versa. So right after making, the clone is second you. But can the same be said after let’s say 10 years of different lifestyles? The clone would actually differ from your version of you. It would be closer to having identical twin whom you’ve never met before because you were separated at birth. Where is the line that separates these two things? that i have no answer for.
