I don't know if people realize how much a lot of disabled people appreciate being included in things

Even if we don't want to be involved we still appreciate the gesture of wanting to include us. A lot of us feel left out for one reason or another so thinking of us like that makes us feel really welcomed and happy

John and Hank have minimized the level of suck in my world. They have created a safe haven for people to truly be themselves, and be celebrated for it.

It’s a place where you are encouraged to question the world and to be curious about the happenings of life. It’s where we accept the lonely, awkward, and passionate young people of the world. And even if you’re not particularly lonely, awkward, and/or passionate, you will be welcomed. Unless, of course, you are judgmental towards others.

They have created a space for people to be who they are, and to understand that you are you, and that’s awesome.
