Shinigami by yourdesertsunflower - M, 9584 words, supernatural, WIP What would happen if you were a spirit of death? You know, those beings in charge of guiding those souls in sorrow to their ultimate and, mostly, not that well regarded death. Wander through the earth, observing the human world, watching over them till the awaited moment where they’ll meet their end, that final breath.

What would happen if you become fond of them? What'll do when the time for their death comes? After all, death is unavoidable, inescapable, inevitable.

3) Do you prefer writing OC’s or reader inserts? Explain your answer.

Reader-insert fics will always be my go to, as I prefer my fics to be perceived as a private, individualistic experience for those who happen to stumble upon it, to feel like it was written for them. To be able to include the reader themselves in the actual world I am trying to build in the fic, and to be able to maximize that specific engagement I am striving for is what inspires me to write the most. It's kind a of a ghost hug from me where I say:

"You know what? Get it on with your anime boyfriend. I got your back."

It's undeniably self-indulgent on my behalf as well, as I do feel that certain "bond" myself while I'm writing it... It's the kind of experience I want to share with others like me who just happen to love Gaara too.

21) Tell me about another writer(s) who you admire? What is it about them that you admire?

At the moment, my favorite writer is Isayama Hajime. He's a very skilled writer in my opinion. The world-building, the warranted yet still shocking plot twists that do not feel cheap, the consistency and the attention to detail is simply remarkable.

27) Do you make a general outline for your stories or do you just go with the flow?

I need to have a general outline or else I would end up with something that has nothing to do with the actual plot I am supposed to write. That holiday drink HC is the latest example. I was like ah shit, let's wing it for once... and I ended up with a one shot about Temari's handcrafted roasting equipment for roasting chestnuts. By the time I hit 1k words, I was like... "Oh fuck, so when does she get to make the hot chocolate?"

All of my mini novels had a general outline as a backbone. Wouldn't wish for someone to open my journal and read through texts of how the foreplay should go in my fic.

Currently no WIPs at the moment AAAAAA

Nahh I kinda feel the same. Well, I never shipped any of the old gen with each other and the new gen - idk, I see them as babies in some way. I really can't bring myself to ship a bunch of 12 years olds with each other being already an adult. Though I see where people are coming from when they ship them. But, yes. thank you for the validation then! yeah especially with shikadai i just immensely feel like. wow that’s practically my son! (file this under: am i a temari kinnie? more to evaluate later.) like i almost don’t want him to grow up and just want him to stay small forever.

i don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with adults that ship 12 year olds with other 12 year olds BUUUT that is as long as it’s kept innocent and there’s boundaries. like UNFORTUNATELY i have an internal radar that can pretttty much tell if someone is a freak right away and i’m usually always right. unfortunately. like the way people IMMEDIATELY started talking about ships with the kids when 700 just dropped. that was pretty fucking weird

with shikadai from what i can say i’ve mostly seen him shipped with: yodo, for, well, Obvious reasons. inojin, i understand where people are coming with this one but i’m just. nah. (god when i was like 13 and i had a crush on someone whose mom was friends with my mom i knew it would never work solely because of that LOL) aaand ryogi i think his name was idk. i’ve only seen the first episode of the byakuga gang arc and i know they play shogi together that’s about it.

Shrug i just hope he doesn’t end up paired off with someone when b*ruto ends in another decade.

I would say BTS; not only do I like their music, but I also love the messages in each album they release, and what they stand for.

Heartbeat by BTS. It’s just the most beautiful song, the lyrics just get to you, and the composition is phenomenal as well <3

19. What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?

I think this kinda goes in cycles bc sometimes I get like determined abt what I can't draw and draw a bunch of those and then I learn how to do it. At the moment I'm having trouble drawing shoes and I think clothes too can be quite difficult especially if it's something I haven't drawn a million of (like pants lol I can draw pants fine).

20. What is the easiest thing for you to draw?

Poses! I can get those down pretty efficiently with or without reference (obvs quicker with reference but I'm not half bad w/o ref either!). This is ONLY because I've done multiple large studies of loads and loads of poses!
