So wie hier auf einem Bahnsteig in Kalkutta / Kolkata überall Menschen sich in Bewegung setzen, um andernorts ihre Lebensumstände für sich und ihre Familie zu verbessern, so scheint dies für viele doch auch ein immer schwierigeres Unterfangen zu werden. Manche nennen die vielen „Wanderarbeiter“, die da weltweit unterwegs sind die „neue Arbeiterklasse“ – andere sprechen da verächtlich von „Sozialtourismus“ – besonders, wenn die Menschen dann in den Sozialsystemen des Westens ankommen. Bald taucht denn auch die schöne Analogie auf, die uns andererseits diese Menschen näher bringen soll – „Gastarbeiter“, die in den 1960er Jahren nach Deutschland kamen und die gewaltigen Heere der Wanderarbeiter überall gerade im Süden des Globusses heutzutage. Eine Fotoausstellung im Hamburger „Museum für Arbeit“ im Januar 2014 spricht von „Glückssuchern der Moderne“. Eine Anmerkung jedoch sei insofern erlaubt - handelt es sich nach der x-ten „Postmoderne“ noch um die "Moderne" - oder - ist es nicht eher eine gewaltige Zeitverzerrung der gesellschaftlichen Zu- und Umstände, die unsere Jetztzeit der so genannten Globalisierung beherrscht, wo die "westliche Moderne" sich zunehmend im Konflikt mit eher archaischen (Lebens-)Formen sieht und - besagte "Glückssucher" denn eigentlich massenhaft auf der Suche nach Marcel Prousts verlorener Zeit sind 25? Und - wo geht die Reise - auch der "Glückssucher" allerorten hin - zu einer zunehmend "fragmentierten Moderne" oder einer "strukturierten" oder gar in Auflösung und Umbau befindlichen "Archaik"? But this enterprise seems to get harder and harder. Some call the many “migrant workers”, who are worldwide on their way the “new working class” – others speak disdainfully of “social tourism” – particularly, when these people arrive in the welfare systems of the west. Soon then also the nice analogy appears, which should on the other hand bring these people closer to us – “guest workers”, who came to Germany in the 1960s and the gigantic armies of migrant workers everywhere particularly in the South of the globe nowadays. A photo exhibition in the “Museum of labor” at Hamburg in January 2014 is talking about “tracers of happiness of modern times”. A comment though insofar should be allowed – after the x th phase of “Postmodernism” is it still about “Modernism” – or – don’t we witness an enormous bias of time and social conditions and circumstances, which dominate our present time of so called globalization, where “Western Modernism” faces more and more of a conflict with rather archaic forms of life and – aren’t these so called “searchers of happiness” in fact in masses in search of Proust’s lost time ? And – where does the journey – also of all these “seekers of happiness” everywhere go to – towards an increasingly “fragmented Modernism” or towards a “structured Archaism”, which even finds itself in a state of dissolution and rebuilding? (A 10.5.) B 13.4. – Dappertutto c’è gente facendo strada. Come qui su un binario a Calcutta / Kolkata ovunque la gente si mette in moto per altrove migliorare le condizioni di sua vita e la vita delle sue famiglie questo pero sembra a diventare un impresa sempre più difficile. Alcuni chiamano i molti “migranti stagionali per lavoro”, chi sono per strada in tutto il mondo la “nuova classe operaia” – altri parlano nel modo dispregiativo del “turismo sociale” – particolarmente, quando la gente poi arriva nei sistemi sociali occidentali. Presto anche la bella analogia appare chi dall’altra parte vuole muoverci più vicino con questa gente - lavoratori stranieri, chi venivano in Germania nei anni 1960 e le armate enorme dei migranti stagionali per lavoro dappertutto particolarmente al sud del globo al giorno d’oggi. Una mostra delle fotografie al “Museo del lavoro” ad Amburgo in Gennaio 2014 parla dei “cercatori della fortuna” . Un annotazione pero deve essere permesso – dopo la “post-moderna” xesimo si tratta ancora della “Moderna” – o – non si tratta di una distorsione enorme del tempo nelle circostanze sociale, chi sta dominando la nostra epoca attuale della cosiddetta globalizzazione, dove la “moderna occidentale” si sempre di più vede nel conflitto colle forme della vita più arcaica e – i cosiddetti “cercatori della fortuna” pero proprio in massa stanno cercando il tempo perduto di Marcel Proust ? E – dove ci porta il viaggio – anch’il viaggio dei cercatori della fortuna dappertutto – ad una “moderna sempre di più frammentata” o un “arcaismo strutturato”, chi si trova nello stato di dissoluzione e del rinnovo?
