Spook Of The Day #224 • The countess, the butler, and the horse - AKA the ghosts of Gwrych Castle
There’s not much left to be proud of as a Briton these days (apart from the NHS, of course). But I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is one of them. And my two favourite things - seeing various b-list celebs choke down 3-day old kangaroo bollocks and ghosts - are about to collide together.
Bang.
This year’s show is going to take place in Gwrych Castle, one of Wales most haunted castles.
There’s a whole host of paranormal activity rumoured to be taking place here:
The Countess’ Tower is most known for its supernatural experiences with the Countess of Dunold still making her presence known despite dying in London 100 years ago.
The spirit of a butler who died on the stairs (I’m not sure how, either) has also been known to push innocent volunteers and visitors up the stairs.
The spirits of gatekeepers, a servant girl, and even a horse have also been discovered by paranormal investigators.
