Another fun commission I did for caelanj13 on Fur Affinity of their wereraven character, Minerva. Was a very tricky one 'cause it deviates from the usual werebeasts I make, but I'm happy with how it turned out. The reason for the 2 versions is ‘cause caelanj13 was curious about how I would make Minerva my way versus how they envisioned her, and figured that I could do both versions which I had no problem with. You can find info about her on their ref sheet here. Done on Sai with an Intuos Medium Pro tablet.

Soooo I just redesigned my werecorvid OC Jules’ bird form! I made a quick design for AF but I wasn’t so happy with it. Last night I took some time to figure out a more final design, and I like this version a lot! He’s so shaped now <3

Seriously though I’m really not sure why there aren’t more werebirds. Regular size birds are scary enough, imagine an 8 foot magpie filled with rage. Tumblr, I need more art of this type of werecritter, I can only do so much on my own lol

So I made something for the Art Fight challenge this month! I’m thinking I might do other tarot card designs based on my original characters?

Death is my favorite tarot card, so I definitely wanted to do something with that (plus it’s the most Halloween card ofc!). For the non tarot folks, Death is very much a card about letting go of past attachments, the stories you tell about yourself that don’t serve you, and other things that hold you back, and making space for new things to flourish. So I’m a bit reluctant to get into details because giga spoilers, but this struggle is a big theme of The Project in general, but especially with this character! Hoping I can tell you all more soon…

The autistic urge to draw the same OC repeatedly has struck again. This time my boy Jules. He’s a gentleman thief, illusion mage, and a menace to society!

I’m still trying to figure out his hair and how it behaves in different situations. It’s mostly floof so it looks so different when wet!

Also still not sure about his feather situation…he sprouts feathers when he feels strong emotions (because werecorvid) and I’m going to be trying different things with that so this may not be canon
