For the past three years @Jael7_ has been soothing me with his work for @darkerthanwax. Surely he is one of those artists that gets the “underrated” label, but that’s more of a problem for the industry and community than it his for him. His output is consistently brilliant, whether him reworking Amel Larrieux (for what has become my favourite bae song of said three years) or him just going in live on the drums. Seriously, this man and the team behind him deserve way more recognition for removing the stale out of contemporary music. Instead of hyping a certain “sound” they just provide good music across the spectrum, which to me is what passion is all about. 

In this case we’re treated to a Red Bull Academy session with him and @JChanel_Saija courtesy of the good folk over at @werkspacemusik x @moovmnt. The talent north of the border is real (we don’t need to complain either).
