Ah, Squishy- nick name of course-, a hapless deluded young woman who was fueled on a mixture of video games and coffee alone; thrown into a bizarro world after dealing with the devil himself. Who wouldn't want to be apart of the worlds she played daily, cool alien races and monsters, space ships or a simple horse and cart. It turned out it wasn't all it was cracked up to be, where she'd found herself was entirely different to anything she'd seen; quite barren in fact all that seemed to surround her was mother nature. Earth, trees, rocks, the rolling waves and the wind that howled both night and day.
That wasn't all mother nature had in store for her though, as she'd quickly come to find out there were monsters, both big and small. Luckily some seemed to keep to themselves and out of the way, harmless things like those weird little jackalopes. She'd also found that she wasn't very good at being..well..she wasn't very good at surviving was the simplest way to put it and dared not anger anything- quickly coming to terms with that being in a video game-esque world was something she no longer wanted. It was by no means fun in the slightest. Squishy had the bare minimum at her camp not far off from where she was, berries and a few basic tools mostly.
It was boring, so alone with little to do but daily ritual..the pudgy blonde girl hadn't seen another soul since she'd arrived besides the one who put her there and he'd gone as soon as he'd shown up. That was until today at least, having taken a different route back 'home' to normal..a few animals had strayed into her usual path and she'd rather go around than through. Something highly out of the ordinary caught her eye, in the corner something mostly red and black..something stripy. Wide eyes narrowed into slits judgmentally over what she was seeing just off in the distance, an illusion perhaps? More tricks from the devilish god perched upon his throne? The trees shrouded her for now as she peeked from their line, a small weapon behind her back in one hand of course she'd not ventured out unprepared..but was it worth pestering this figment or better to ignore.
