The mind and the body are connected. Our western society tends to separate them, but our emotional lives cannot be separated from our physiology. They affect each other. When the mind has noise the body reacts When the body responds the mind is stilled. When the body senses the mind is informed When the mind adapts the body conforms. Intention can move the body just as poise can set the mind. Breathe the body to ease the mind. Calm the mind to relax the body. The body moves the mind and the mind moves the body. Know both, connect to both.
