Which pokemon would live along the south west coast of England? Particularly places like Weston super-mare?
While I have yet to talk about Somerset or Weston-super-Mare in particular, I have talked about Devon, which is quite close by and shares much of its wild Pokemon with adjacent counties. Weston-super-Mare lies on the sea, making it a hotspot for water-type Pokemon, such as Clauncher or even the occasional Chinchou, drawn by the town’s incredible tidal changes. Psyduck are also common sights throughout the town, wandering throughout the streets. Flying-types are also frequently sighted in Weston-super-Mare - it’s easy to find Rookidee or Corvisquire flying about, especially by the town’s famous Helicopter Museum.
The rest of Somerset is hilly and filled with grass and normal-type Pokemon, ranging from abundant Bunnelby or Oddish to much rarer Applin, Flapple, and Appletun. Pikachu are incredibly common in the town of Cheddar, while rock-types abound in the historic city of Bath. As I mentioned in my post about Devon, Exmoor National Park also lies in Somerset, and the most common sights there are Wooloo and Ponyta, the latter being one of the oldest breeds of Ponyta in the world.
