Best known as Adam Reverie, I've yet to hear a cut without a message. This artist is definitely one who isn't afraid to show that he understands his roots and how he wants to influence the world.
Reverie's lyrics and posts on any social accounts are always drenched in one theme --- manhood. A bold, yet welcomed statement to make when entering this industry (in my book) where he is surrounded by rappers and even R&B (once reserved for love & adoration of women) singers making music about minutiae and objectifying women.
Reverie's latest full project is entitled FATHER SON BROTHER FRIEND, the title is a literal summary of his content. Glad to say he's from my hometown of Detroit, MI & a Westside native, at that. Excited to hear what's next from Reverie, an emcee who isn't afraid to approach the topic we've heard silence behind for so many years, manhood.
