we read this for my lgbt studies class, and a close friend of mine in the class who would probably fall in the catagory of soft butch had to leave the class for a moment because she was sobbing. very touching and eye opening book.
That's really sweet and I hope it was at least a good cry. The first time I read it I cried a loooooooooot, and some were happy cries and some were sad cries but they were all good cries. It really is a vital read.
