[  jacob elordi &  21  &  cis male  ]   stars  above,  is  that  SANTOS  FERREIRA  of  THE  SKY  PEOPLE ?  i  overheard  people  talking  about  them;  they  say  that  they're  RESOURCEFUL  but  when  their  VINDICTIVE  side  rears  its  head  things  can  get  ugly.   is that  the  case  for  all  people  who  were a  JUVENILE  PRISONER ?   i  heard  they  can  usually  be  found  around  HINTON.  people  who  have  run  into  them  say  that  they  remind  them  of  BATTERED  KNUCKLES  AND  BLOODY  GRINS,  but  i  wonder  if  we'll  see  if  there's  more  to  them  than  previously  thought  ?  whatever  the  case,   i  know  they  have  NEUTRAL  feelings  about  the  GROUNDERS.

born to a single mother who passed before he knew her, santos spends most of his childhood alone; isolated and unwanted in a cronos station orphanage.

at eleven, that all seems to change when a distant family friend appears from the woodwork and offers to become his guardian. they tell him that he’s going home, that he has a family now — and while his understanding of the word is shaky at best, the young boy is excited.

hopeful.

it doesn’t take long for that budding feeling to die.

though they call themselves his family, there’s no warmth in that home, at least not for santos. he’s a source of labor, no more, no less - an extra set of hands to help her and her husband survive the harsh conditions. 

that lack of love might have been painful for anyone else, but it’s nothing santos doesn’t already know. in fact, he starts to embrace it ; starts to wear the badge of an outsider with pride and make trouble everywhere he goes to stake a claim.

i’m here, it seems to say. even if you don’t want me to be. 

as he grows older -- and more angry -- what starts as acting out turns into something sinister. he’s increasingly violent, a rage at the world that sparks at the drop of a hat, and with so little self control, it’s only a matter of time before he takes things too far.

these days, he can hardly remember what happened to land him in the skybox just shy of his fourteenth birthday; but whispers about it would follow him the whole way there, the blood of some stuck-up upper class kid still staining his cuffed hands.

and, though he imagines some part of being in juvie is meant to scare him straight, it has the opposite effect.

he thrives surrounded by kids as damaged as him, taking quickly to a particular group of boys who punch first and ask questions later - just the way he likes. together, they become the unspoken kings of their prison, the types that send fear through a room just by stepping in; and santos thinks maybe, just maybe he’s finally found where he belongs.

until they too abandon him, over one rumor or another, and the betrayal ends in a brawl that leaves him scarred and alone, once again.

since then, santos has virtually kept to himself, save for one dear (and unexpected) friendship; unwilling to trust anyone among a people who’d made him a pariah from the day he was born. 

perhaps that’s why the crash doesn’t worry him as much as it had some others. 

with the ground under his feet and the sky box behind him, this is all just a new beginning.

EXTRA TIDBITS

as you can probably guess, santos is not fond of his faction and left the primary settlement around cronos station as soon as he could post crash. he’s settled close to hinton, but has every intention of exploring other territories now that he’s free to move as he pleases; especially with venus’ disappearance.

a remnant of the work he did for his aunt, santos is well-versed in tech repair and can typically salvage ruined tech or even create something new out of it. as such, the machines that roam the ground fascinate him - they’re a meld of his biggest interests (tech and power).

WANTED CONNECTIONS 

while being on the ground is a chance for a new beginning, that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a better one. santos is still as rowdy as ever, which has gotten the attention of those in the hinton commercial areas he frequents. if your muse is the shady, underground type, i would love to have folks who pull santos into his old habits - fighting, the occasional crime, etc.

ATR Single Release & Soraru’s back pain

Soraru: Even thought it’s our CD Furage day*    I hurt my lower back from using my ab rollers too much    I can’t move    It’s no good anymore  Goodbye...

Soraru: It seriously hurts, what should I do... I wonder if I need to go to a chiropractics? I wonder if someone will come and take care of me... No, in this situation I’ll need nursing care...

Soraru_info: It should calm down in 2~3 days   If it’s too painful get orthopedic surgery-

Soraru: My back still hurts today but it’s the release date of our singles! There are four songs even though they’re singles   I think that’s pretty nice   It’s a good deal   Every song has enthusiasm    Take care of us please!

I made a visit to the osteopath’s, and from just one trip it made me feel amazing and happy    It looks like I sprained my waist    I sprained my waist...(´・ω・`) They told me that I shouldn’t suddenly do a lot of exercise but start off with lightly   I’m sorry

Mafumafu: Today’s CD store greetings have ended!! I walked out completely knackered!! I also went to places like Animate and Tower Record!! I’m so grateful that this became so big (⁎ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈⁎)

*Furage day is the day before the actual release day (since stores have to start stocking them beforehand) when you can still purchase CDs early (as well as DVDs and stuff)

my (now ex) gf broke up with ME on valentines after inviting their best friend to our date and their best friend making them a valentines and them not even speaking to me for the first 3 hours and them getting pissed at me cause their friend showed me nudes of this nonce and I was uncomfortable, wtf lmao
