theres something to be said about how batfam people always characterize dick as the "sweet" kid who always listens to authority(bruce) and act scandalized and call it "out of character" when someone makes him the angry child he is. Meanwhile batcest people will make him angry all the time and wont outright ignore his entire canon personality for their fanon interpretation. something something batfam pushes people to ignore canon, while batcest scavenges canon like vultures do a dead body
