The CEOs have continued to keep walking away from the table during the strike, it makes me wonder if they are attempting to increase the purchase price for the Pinault deal and maximise their profits

It's a well known tactic (even in politics, but especially business and gossip PR) to bury one kind of news with another when you don't want a lot of people to know about something else they are trying to do

It's interesting to note also that someone like BlackRock has a stake in Netflix, I'm sure with a little digging we could figure out what other media they happen to have a financial stake in

How badly and how many of have these people tried to use Christopher as a pawn in some business transaction?

Everything in Hollywood is so fake and uninteresting

I hope the new step forward for the performers works out for them

But let's hope they improve some of their acting skills, sometimes imitation is just not flattering 🤷‍♀️

Pay them what they are worth for their original ideas and skills

Also considering what stans and fans do in terms of artwork maybe the fandoms should join unions too

I honestly think the influencers should do it too, it's not like trickle down economics actually operates from anywhere does it

Word of mouth advertising is still the fastest in the world and they do a lot of free work for their favs in terms of advertising, especially with their upcoming projects and things

It is technically content creation is it not? How will they manage fair use for the fans considering what they do for them for free

It would be bad for the entire industry to lose that type of real person support, after all bot accounts don't spend money at the cinema or on products

Anyway let's hope this changes things for everyone and not just the performers

Let's hope Sagaftra and WGA get out and support those further down on the ladder who were even more vulnerable than they were and help them start their own respective unions accordingly

Lift each other up

If the people at the bottom aren't sturdy enough to hold the foundation of it all, it will just fall over again if it only trickles down to the second tier they become the new villains and the story repeats, the snake eats itself again

At least that's what I've seen....

It needs to be for everyone's benefit, not just those currently striking, you need to protect everyone not just your immediate work colleagues, especially when you have more power than those below you

Show us who you are

Everyone has been a victim of the manipulation of these people, it needs to be stopped

this is amazing news now that the WGA has reached tentative agreement and the strike is now ended

BUT also please remember that SAG-AFTRA are still striking

keep on giving full support to the strike so the actors can get what they deserve!

with the wga strike recently coming to an end, i give my support and respect to the writers that protested and held out for the 5 long months.

but i do want everyone to still be aware that sagaftra IS still striking and has yet to receive a good deal, so dont forget to continue giving them full support as they continue. hopefully amptp will fall through for actors soon, but we still have to be prepared in case they continue being stubborn.
