Anyway I've seen an abnormal amount of talking about the different Sabre series that people didn't like? I think it's because he's starting a new one? Soo...gonna make this post
This blog is a safe space for fans of any fms series I am not gonna rag on them over here. First because I only watched the ones I like and secondly because I am one of those people who loves their hyperfixations so much that it irritates me when people start smack talking them (seriously,if I hear that TSS fans are just "nostalgia blind" one more time, I'm gonna lose it) Everyone is allowed their own opinions (You are free to keep discussing what you didn't like about the series if you wish I'm not stopping you. Also I'm not vague posting about anyone I've seen this everywhere) but mine is that I like it when people are happy about their fandoms
The Steve Saga is absolutely wonderful,it's so fun and lighthearted and still has plenty of serious and heartbreaking moments. I have rewatched it multiple times,it is not nostalgia blindness it is literally just a good series
Steve Saga Origins is just as good,though Blue does get treated so unfairly in that series by the universe XD there's so many emotional moments especially near the ending, it's such a heartfelt series. I'm rewatching it now and yeah,some parts make me roll my eyes because they're just being stupid lmao,but I feel the same joy I felt watching it for the first time
The Blue Steve Saga established a bunch of new heartbreaking lore out of nowhere and it's a crime that it got cancelled because there was so much potential. Poor Blue going through the horrors yet again </3 I would have loved to see his triumph and reunion with Rainbow Steve and the others in the spirit world
Twisted Rainbow had banger characters and an awesome soundtrack and animated parts,and I for one really loved the story. I love TR Sabre's rise to godhood,his weird friendship with Curse. I love Elite's redemption arc and M,my sweet boi M <3 I love the side characters that my bestie and I named and got attached to and yes,I love TR Hypno. I don't care how useless he is,he was relevant to me
I only watched a few episodes of Rainbow Quest and while I do fundamentally dislike it because of what it did to TSS's reputation,I know people love it enough to know that it matters. I love Curse's roll and his lore in the climax of the series,I love RQ Hypno and Assistant Steve complaining about Sabre,I love Goggles being insane. And Leaf is from there apparently! Very good
Same with Steve Legends. No idea what's going on in there but I'm a big fan of those freaks.
Steve Labs literally has one episode and you know what? It's so bad that it's good. It's so goofy yet terrifying if you think about it,and it gave us the gift of labs Rainbow
Alux Rising was such a banger series! It had good characters whom I fell in love with,a pretty decent plot and while I'll never be satisfied with the ending,I am satisfied with everything that came before it. The animation was good,the designs were banger,and that stupid advisor has my heart. Love u Azrial <3
Everything Sabre makes has good aspects,even if I don't like his endings or all his writing decisions I can agree with that. And I don't wanna make anybody feel bad just because I personally don't like their series. With a new one on the horizon,I would rather look at all the positive aspects of the old ones,as we look forward to what will come :]
But seriously if people start coming for the steve saga one more time I'm sending rodents after all of you
